E-Skool will organise its annual Udupi district-level science and technology fair-cum-competition titled ‘BrainQuest 2017’ at the Nutana Ravindra Mantapa and Geetanjali Hall on the MGM College campus here from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
Speaking to presspersons here on Friday, director of E-Skool, Poornima Kamath, said that the objective of the event was to generate interest in science and technology among high school students.
Competitions would be held under categories such as Model Quest, Product Quest, Research Quest, FxQuest and ReQuest. The competition was being held for the 13th consecutive year.
Under the Model Quest, the teams would exhibit models of ventilation system for buildings. Under Product Quest, the teams would bring items made from Terrazzo concrete.
The participants in the competitions would receive a voucher for ₹100 that they could use at the MGM College Cooperative Book Store.
There would be a talk on ‘Conservation of beneficial insects’ at the fair, she said.
