Protest for train halt

The Surathkal Block Congress Committee stopped the Yesvantpur-Karwar Intercity Express for some time at Surathkal on Saturday, they were demanding for a stop at the Surathkal Railway Station.

They submitted a memorandum to the Regional Railway Manager of Konkan Railways, Karwar, demanding that train numbers 16515 and 16516 should also be sanctioned a stop at Surathkal Railway Station.
