The Bishop of Mangaluru, Aloysius Paul D’Souza, on Sunday released the poster of the Karnataka regional Catholic charismatic convention, to be held from November 9.

Preparations for the convention began subsequently. This year marks the golden jubilee of Catholic charismatic renewal worldwide.

The four-day programme will have training at forenoon for 500 leaders from 14 dioceses of the State. There will be a convention from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., with 10,000 persons expected to participate at the Rosario Cathedral grounds, Pandeshwara.

In preparation for the convention, intercessory prayers will be held in all the parishes of the diocese and also in 14 diocese of the State.

Mr. D’Souza will inaugurate convention and Bernard Moras, the Archbishop of Bengaluru, will celebrate the concluding Holy Mass. Other Bishops from the State will celebrate Holy Mass on other days taking turn.
