Minister Rai’s son ‘involved’ in brawl

July 26, 2016 12:00 am | Updated 05:55 am IST - MANGALURU:

Minister for Forest, Environment and Ecology B. Ramanath Rai said here on Monday that action can be taken if his son has misbehaved with anybody in an incident which reportedly took place at T. Shettigere village in Kodagu district on Sunday.

The Minister said that he did not bring pressure on anybody not to take action against his son Deepu Rai and he would not do so. It is alleged that the Minister’s son was involved in a brawl in the village after residents objected to parking a car in which he was travelling with two others on a private land.
