Many areas in Udupi to go without power supply today

Power supply will be affected at various places in Udupi district on Tuesday as the Mangalore Electricity Supply Company (Mescom) is undertaking emergency maintenance and repair works.

Achladi, Saibrakatte, Shiriyara, Heskatthur, Billadi, Shirur, Avarse, Kokkarne, Hiliyana, Yadthadi, Heggunje and surrounding areas fed by 11 kv Billadi-Mandarthi line will not have power between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

As the 11 kv Malpe and Puttur Feeders would be down for emergency maintenance work, Puttur, Subrahmanyanagara, Garadimajalu, Uddinahithlu, Bailakere, Malpe, Kola, Thottam, Badanidiyur, Malpe Beach, Vadabhandeshwara, Doddanagudde, Gundibail, Perampalli, Ambaiglu, Nayampalli, Kakkunje, Lakshminagara Garade, Srinagara and surrounding places will not get power between 9 a.m. and 5.30 p.m.

Power supply will be affected between 9 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. in Nitte, Kuntadi, Kalya, Bola, Belman, Nandalike, Sooda and surrounding areas fed by Nitte and Belman feeders.

Hairabettu, Jaathabettu, Uggelbettu, Lakshminagara, Ammunje, Kolalagiri, Parari, Keelinje, Muggeri, Havanje, Banabettu, Bellaru and surrounding areas fed by 11 kv Kolalagiri line will not have power between 9.30 am and 6 pm, said an official release from Mesocm.
