Mangalore vulnerable too

Speakers at workshop on disaster management on Tuesday pointed out that Mangalore too is vulnerable to disasters. For example, the city is in the areas considered to be zone III where the risk of an earthquake is moderate, and earthquakes measuring up to 6.9 on Richter’s scale could strike it, according to development consultant Jacob Kutty Francis from Wayanad.
