Chancellor of Nitte University N. Vinay Hegde said on Friday that a business manager should develop a positive attitude and have the right skills to manage the changing dimensions of the market.
He was speaking at the inauguration of ‘Ettin 2010', a national-level B-school fest organised by the Justice K.S. Hegde Institute of Management at Nitte in Udupi district.
In order to achieve success in business and life, one needed to take timely and quick decisions. Managers should always be cordial as business relations were mostly complex. Management meant taking people along to achieve the desired goal. “Sustained success is the result of sacrifice,” Mr. Hegde said.
Presiding over the function, economist and Chairman of the Academic Council of the institute N.K. Thingalaya stressed on hard work.
Director of the institute M.S. Moodithaya welcomed the gathering. Staff coordinator of Ettin 2010 M. Sudhir gave an overview of the programme.
