June 13, 2016 12:00 am | Updated October 18, 2016 02:46 pm IST - MANGALURU:

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) will announce the availability of government seats for admission to professional courses through the common entrance test (CET) on Tuesday.

The option entry would start on June 15 and end on June 22. The mock allotment of seats would be announced on June 23. The real allotment of seats would be published on June 26.

Announcing this at The Hindu EducationPlus Career Counselling programme here on Sunday, Sachet Suvarna, Assistant Nodal Officer, KEA, asked students and parents to make option entry carefully.

‘Make up your mind’

A student should make up his mind before the option entry level.

He asked students not to be ignorant about the procedures and get their doubts clarified at the helpline centres of the KEA.
