The Mangaluru Divisional Office of Indian Oil Corporation Limited on Saturday distributed prizes to 22 consumers who took part in its seven-month long cashless transaction promotion drive in Dakshina Kannada from this January.
The consumers were selected through lucky draw for the prizes. They were among those who had purchased fuel in its outlets through debit/credit/wallet cards till this July.
The company had asked such customers to give a missed all to a given number soon after the purchase.
The missed call triggered an SMS on their mobile phones as an acknowledgment.
It had launched the drive in Dakshina Kannada as part of digital India programme.
Among 22 prize winners, two consumers were given away two-wheelers each. The remaining 20 customers were handed over cell phones. The prize distribution was conducted at Kottara.
