Conductor held for minor’s rape
A 27-year-old conductor of a private bus was arrested for allegedly raping a 16-year-old girl in Kavoor on Wednesday.
According to police, accused Faizal, a resident of Shantinagar, was the conductor of the bus in which the girl usually travelled. He had taken a photograph of her on his mobile phone and threatened her of publishing it. When the girl wanted to see the photograph, Faizal had told her that he will show it to her in her house.
In April, Faizal came to her house after knowing that her parents were not in town. He entered the house and then raped the girl on the premises.
