‘Ecolart', an exhibition put up by professional artists at Ravindra Kalabhabhavan here on Friday to create awareness about global warming, impressed visitors, a majority of whom were schoolchildren.

Organised jointly by Mangalore University, British Council (Chennai), the Association of British Scholars, Artists Combine and the science forum of University College, the exhibition drew huge crowds.

The organisers also screened some prize-winning short films minutes on global warming.

In an off-beat inauguration, the guests picked up brushes at the request of the organisers and tried their hand at painting.
