Engg. conferenceat Nitte on Friday

The NMAM Institute of Technology (NMAMIT) will organise a one-day International Conference on Emerging Trends in Engineering (ICETE) at Nitte in Udupi district on May 12.

Niranjan N. Chiplunkar, Principal of NMAMIT, said that the seventh edition of the conference was being organised owing to the overwhelming response in the previous years.

The conference chair had received over 130 research papers out of which 55 research papers were shortlisted for presentation.

Nearly 100 M.Tech students will be exhibiting their technical findings in the form of poster display on the same day.

P. Ramadas, Managing Director, Ace Manufacturing Systems Ltd., Bengaluru, would inaugurate the conference. D.K. Subramanyan, former dean and professor, IISc, Bengaluru, will be the guest of honour at the inaugural function.
