'The CID had not been able to trace the accused despite investigating the case since April'

The DYFI has demanded a CBI probe into the Panjimogaru double murder case. Razia, wife of scrap merchant P. Hameed, and their daughter Fathima Zua were found dead in their house on Panjimogaru Main Road on June 28, 2011.

In a petition to the Director-General and Inspector-General of Police Lalrokhuma Pachau, it said the CID had not been able to trace the accused despite investigating the case since April.
