The veteran comedian's show is part of promotion of new Tulu film ‘Rang’

Comedy buffs will get chance to enjoy show by veteran comedian Johny Lever on Sunday. The ace comedian’s show at the Nehru Maidan is a part of promotion of new Tulu film ‘Rang’ in which Johny Lever is playing a role.

The show will be held after the release of audio of the film. His 30-minute show will be followed by music programme by Film’s Music Director Manikant Kadri and his group. Mr. Manikant and his group will be present five songs from the new film. Mangalore’s ‘Ocean Kids’ dance group will perform to these songs. Entry is free.

Talking to reporters on Thursday, Suhan Prasad and Vismaya Vinayak, directors of the film, said the story of the new film revolved around the lives of college students. One among these students is Tulu comedian Navin D. Padil, who plays a student who keeps failing in college. Johny Lever is also an old college student and the two are together in one of the five songs.
