A person was robbed of his chain, money, and a car at Herga coming under Manipal police station limits. According to the Manipal police, Jayaprakash Shetty, a veterinary doctor, was asked by his acquaintance Rohan to visit Udupi. Dr. Shetty came to Manipal with Rohan and another person Rajesh at 8.30 p.m. on May 27 and checked into a lodge at Herga on Manipal-Parkala Road. When Mr. Shetty got up at 5 a.m. on Monday, he found that his gold chain, money in wallet, and his car were missing.
