Detailed report sought

March 27, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:39 am IST - MANGALURU:

Health and Family Welfare Minister U.T. Khader said action will be taken against the private hospital if any discrepancies are noticed in the conducting of the camp and procedures done on beneficiaries.

Mr. Khader said a detailed set of norms have been set forth in conducting health camps and procedures to be followed under the Vajpayee Aroyashree scheme. Procedures on the beneficiaries are done only after approval of a committee of experts overseeing the programme in Bengaluru is obtained.

Mr. Khader said he has sought a detailed report about the camp and procedures to closely look into the two deaths and allegations made by residents.
