Congress plans workers' meeting in Udupi

The Udupi and Chikmagalur district units of the Congress will hold party workers meeting at the Royal Gardens near Kalsanka here on Monday before the party candidate for the Udupi-Chikmagalur parliamentary constituency K. Jayaprakash Hegde files his nomination papers.

A press release issued by the Udupi District Congress Committee here on Saturday said that Union External Affairs Minister S.M. Krishna, Union Minister for Corporate Affairs M. Veerappa Moily, Union Labour Minister Mallikarjuna Kharge, Minister of State for Railways K.H. Muniyappa, and Leader of the Opposition in Legislative Assembly Siddaramaiah would attend the meeting.
