A complaint has been filed against actor Ramya for campaigning in Farangipet on April 26 without taking permission.
In a complaint filed before the Bantwal Rural police, a sector magistrate said Ms. Ramya campaigned in an open jeep between Farangipet and Maripalla for Mangalore Assembly constituency Congress Candidate U.T. Khader.
The Bantwal Rural police have registered the complaint for offences under Sections 188 .
