A 17-year-old II PU student ended his life in his house in Ullal when his father had been to his college.
The Ullal police said that Shifan was a student of St. Sebastian College. The police said that Shifan remained absent on Monday when examination was on. The college administration reportedly called Shifan’s father Sadashiva, who works in a vegetable shop, and asked him to meet the college principal. The police said that Sadashiva came to the house in Lachil around noon and then left for the college.
When he returned from the college, Sadashiva found his son hanging from the fan in their house, the police said.
