One Chair Car coach has been temporarily added to Train No. 16859 / 16860 Chennai Egmore – Mangalore Central – Chennai Egmore Express, making the total number of its coaches 22. The augmentation will be from Wednesday to March 2, 2015.

Science ExpressThe Science Express Biodiversity Special Train will be arriving at Kasaragod on Thursday and will be stationed there till Sunday.
Public, students and teachers may visit the train between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. with no entry fee. The special train is a collaborative venture of Department of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Forest, Environment and Climatic Changes, Government of India.
