The Bantakal-based Sri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management (SMVITM) will organise a CET-KEA Pre-Counselling and Career Guidance Programme at Lions Bhavan, Brahmagiri, here at 9.30 a.m. on Sunday (May 20).
The programme is being held for aspirants who had appeared for Common Entrance Test (CET) - 2018 conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority. It will focus on opportunities for pursuing education after completing II PU in the science stream and to provide insight on the CET seat allotment process.
Vasudeva, HOD, Computer Science and Engineering, SMVITM, will speak on ‘Prospects and challenges of pursuing a career in engineering, medical and allied fields’. Thirumaleshwara Bhat, principal, SMVITM, will speak on the CET process.
Free Internet browsing
The institute will provide free Internet browsing to needy students facilitating ‘Entry of options for admission round through on-line’ for seat allotment by KEA, at CAED Lab, SMVITM at Bantakal, and also at Sri Sode Vadiraja Mutt Education Trust Office, in Udupi.
This will be extended with technical guidance from 9 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. on days announced by KEA, free of cost. Call: 9844361289.
