The Common Entrance Test counselling by the Karnataka Examinations Authority will begin at the Sahyadari College of Engineering and Management at Adyar here on Thursday. It will end on August 31.
The CET counselling is being held in Mangalore for the first time. It is one of the five counselling centres in the State.
The other centres are in Shimoga, Hubli, Gulbarga, and Bangalore, Shruthi Keerthi Raja, CET coordinator for Mangalore, said at a press conference here on Tuesday.
Mr. Raja said that counselling process would be held simultaneously in all five centres. Students could appear for counselling in any of the centres, even if they had mentioned Bangalore in their application forms.
