Almost all the 20-odd CBSE schools in the district have registered cent per cent results in the Class 10 examinations that were announced on Thursday.
Some of the schools include Kendriya Vidyalayas 1 and 2, Mount Carmel Central School, Canara CBSE, The Yenepoya School, Manipal School, Sharada Vidyaniketan, Sharada Vidyalaya, Lourdes Central School, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Mudipu, Nishara Public School Harekala and Ravishankar Vidyamandir in Bantwal.
Students from the district have secured the highest 10 Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA). In terms of marks, 10 CGPA means scoring between 95 and 100 per cent.
Of the 153 students from Kendriya Vidyalaya-1 in Panambur, as many as 19 students have secured 10 CGPA. Of the 53 students from Kendriya Vidyalaya -2, Yekkur, three students have got 10 CGPA. Of the 75 students from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Mudipu, 14 students have secured 10 CGPA.
Of the 166 students who passed out from Sharada Vidyalaya, 44 students have secured 10 CGPA. Of the 40 students from Mount Carmel Central School, Maryhill, seven students have secured 10 CGPA, while two have secured 9.8 CGPA. The remaining 31 students have got CGPA between 6 and 9.6. Of the 80 students from Canara CBSE, 11 have been awarded 10 CGPA, while 26 are secured between 9 and 9.9 and 16 students have been secured between 8 and 8.9 CGPA.
Of the 132 students from Sharada Vidyaniketan School, Talapady, eight students have secured 10 CGPA, while 35 students have been awarded between 9 and 9.8 CGPA.
