Former Chief Minister D. V. Sadananda Gowda in Mangalore on Friday questioned Chief Minister Siddaramaiah visiting some maths and seeking the blessings of seers.
Addressing presspersons, Mr. Gowda said it was Mr. Siddaramaiah who had criticised the BJP government for granting funds to maths when he was the Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly.
Now why does he want the blessings of seers of those maths, he asked.
Mr. Gowda said it appeared that Mr. Siddaramaiah had changed a lot after becoming the Chief Minister.
When asked if the Bharatiya Janata Party would re-admit those leaders who deserted it and joined the Karnataka Janata Paksha he said the district and taluk units of the party would take a decision to this effect after studying individual cases.
If such leaders after repenting wanted to come back those cases would be considered on individual basis.
The former Chief Minister D.V.Sadananda Gowda said that the government should release at least Rs. 1,000 crore to solve drinking water problems in different parts of the State.
