Udupi: Bharatiya Janata Party Yuva Morcha president V. Sunil Kumar said on Saturday that the BJP would launch a campaign against the Prevention of Communal and Targeted Violence (Access to Justice and Reparations) Bill proposed to be introduced during the monsoon session of Parliament.

He was speaking at the inauguration of the district BJP Executive Committee meeting here.

Mr. Kumar said the Bill would affect the Hindu community. Hence, the national unit of the party had decided to launch a campaign against it.

As soon as finer details of the campaign were worked out at the national level, the party would launch it at the district as well.
