Bhatkal DEMU extended to Madgaon

The Mangalore Central-Bhatkal diesel electric multiple unit (DEMU) will be extended up to Madgaon from July 1. While train no. 70105 will depart from Madgaon at 5 a.m. and reach Mangalore Central at 12.05 p.m., the return train no. 70106 will depart from Mangalore Central at 2.35 p.m. to reach Madgaon at 10.30 p.m.

Meanwhile, the terminal station of train nos. 16524/16518 and 16517/16523 Karwar/Kannur–Mangalore–Yeshwanthpur Express will be shifted from Yeshwanthpur to Bangalore City from August 15. Timings of a few trains being operated from Mangalore will be changed during the monsoon, with effect from July 1.
