Attack on journalists condemned

Journalists staged a protest here on Friday against the attack on their colleagues by advocates in Bangalore. Condemning the conduct of advocates, president of the Dakshina Kannada Working Journalists' Union Harish Rai said journalists should not be treated as soft target. “We are capable not only to write but also raise our voice against such attacks,” he added. Members of the Udupi District Working Journalists' Association staged a dharna in Udupi against the attack on media persons. President of the association Kiran Manjan- bail and secretary Jayakar Suvarna were present.
