Health and Family Welfare Minister U.T. Khader said sufficient stock of anti-snake venom will be made available across government hospitals in the State in the next two weeks.

Talking to reporters, Mr. Khader said getting anti-snake venom had been a problem as there was only one firm in the country that was manufacturing it. Mr. Khader said last year there was problem in bidding and hence they struggled to ensure minimum stock in government hospitals and health centres.

“This year we have placed the bid. In the next 15 days this problem will be solved,” Mr. Khader said.
