India’s spiritual leader from Kerala Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi will be in the city for two days from February 20.

She will attend the Amrutasangama at Amrita Vidyalaya Grounds in Sulthan Bathery on these two days. There will be darshan from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. at the same venue on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Addressing presspersons here on Friday, Prasadraj Kanchan, president, Mata Amritanandamayi Seva Samithi, said that there would be a stage programme on February 20 at 10 a.m.

In all, 25 physically challenged persons would be given free wheelchairs and 64 poor and meritorious will be given scholarships. In addition, pension would be given away to 200 senior citizens. As many as 25 women would be given sewing machines for self-employment.

Tokens for the free darshan would be given on the spot. Free bus arrangement has been made from Lady Hill and Mangaluru Junction Railway Station to Sulthan Bathery on the two days.
