State Department of Science and Technology, has awarded S. Hareesh Joshy, Head, Department of Zoology, St. Aloysius College with Best Research Publication Award for 2009-10.
The award was presented to him at a function held at Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research in Bangalore recently. It carries Rs. 25,000 in purse and a certificate. He received the award from Prof. C.N.R. Rao, scientific advisor to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, a release said.
