All the 57 candidates who underwent skill development training in two trades — industrial electrician and CNC operator-turning — in the first batch of MRPL Kaushal Vikas Kendra have got job offers from different companies in Bengaluru, Mangaluru and Udupi.
The Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd. (MRPL) Managing Director H. Kumar on Friday handed over ‘certificates of placement’ to successful candidates at NTTF, Bengaluru, in the presence of M. Venkatesh, Director (Refinery) and N. Reguraj, Managing Director, NTTF, a release from MRPL said.
Mr. Kumar said the trainees had gained confidence to face challenges. They are prepared for better future and to grow in life. Candidates were selected from neighbouring areas of MRPL. All expenses including boarding and lodging, tutorial, and uniform, were borne by the kendra.
