65th Tulu cinema ‘Pavithra’ to be released tomorrow

Tulu cinema ‘Pavithra’ will be released in the theatres in the coast making it the 65th Tulu cinema to be released in the series, on Friday.

Addressing presspersons here on Wednesday, its producer Anantharama Rao Yermal said that the film will be released in Mangaluru, Udupi, Manipal, B.C. Road and Puttur simultaneously.

‘Pavithra’ was shot in 23 days in Yermal, Kaup, Kulur, Haleyangady, Jeppu and other places along the coast.

It features Tulu comedy actors Naveen D. Padil, Aravind Bolar, Bhojaraja Vamanjoor and others.

The story of the film revolves around a woman rolling beedis. ‘Pavithra’ is directed by Naga Venkatesh.
