29-year-old woman found dead in Bajpe

A 29-year-old woman, an employee of a car showroom in Hampankatta, was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Yekkur near Bajpe on Friday evening.

According to the Bajpe police, Usha Shetty (29), a resident of Veeranagar, worked as a clerk in a Maruti showroom at Hampankatta.

On Thursday afternoon she left her workplace saying that she was visiting a temple.

As she did not return home, her husband and other family members started searching for her.

On Friday evening, passers-by found the body of a woman with burns in a drain.

The police and Ms. Shetty’s family members went to the spot and identified her.
