Fourteen persons of a marriage party were injured when the goods van by which they were travelling overturned near Kottara Chowki on Sunday.
The condition of Mustaq, who is among the injured persons, is serious, according to the Mangalore Traffic (West) Police.
The police said about 25 persons from Ullal’s Sundari Bagh were going by the vehicle to attend a marriage in the M.G.M. Hall in Krishnapura. Two other vans were trailing them. The police said the driver of the van moving ahead lost control over the vehicle and it overturned near a showroom in Kottara around 11 a.m.
People following this van stopped their vehicles and immediately shifted the injured to the nearby A.J. Hospital, the police said.
