A youth was murdered at Pattam near here on Thursday morning.
Police said Muthuraja (22) was working as an office assistant in an educational institution. The police suspect the murder to be an act of revenge for the killing of a Dalit youth, Muthuviji, under Teppakulam police limits in Madurai. His first death anniversary falls on Friday.
“When Muthuraja came out of his house to have bath, the gang pounced on him and attacked him with aruvals. Soon, he collapsed.”
