Sathiyapriya (34), who claimed to be the wife of B. Ramasamy, the man who is set to marry expelled AIADMK Rajya Sabha member Sasikala Pushpa, submitted a petition at the Collectorate here on Tuesday.

She claimed that her husband had stopped responding to her calls after she gave birth to her child in 2016. “I lived with him for two years in Delhi. He asked me to move back here for my pregnancy and stopped responding to my calls after that,” she said. She told reporters that she had visited the All Women’s Police station to register a complaint against him.

Sathiyapriya stated that she had approached the District Court seeking conjugal rights and maintenance. “All I want is my husband,” she said.
