Water level in Periyar dam was 116.80 feet. The inflow into the dam was 102 cusecs and discharge 511 cusecs. In Vaigai dam, the water level was 28.12 feet, inflow 50 cusecs and discharge 60 cusecs.
Combined Periyar credit was 833 mcft.

The rainfall (in mm) recorded in the catchment area : Periyar dam 7, Tekkadi 1.6, Vaigai dam 1, Manjar dam 15, Marudhanadi 9, Sothuparai dam 3, Madurai 9, Kallandiri 17, Sittampatti 7.4, Idayapatti 3, Viraghanoor 9.3 and Kodai 11 mm.
