This Saturday, cleaning of garbage was carried out along the Vaigai river bed at Ramarayar Mandapam Yanaikal Causeway, Obulapadithurai, Mela Anna Thoppu and Arappalayam. Mayor V. V. Rajan Chellappa and Corporation Commissioner R. Nanthagopal visited the above spots and monitored the garbage removal process.
