Trains regulated for testing signal system, track circuits

Southern Railway has partially cancelled and regulated the movement of the following trains on Thursday to facilitate conduct of testing of new signal systems and track circuits at Madurai railway junction.

Trains partially cancelled

Train No. 56319 Nagercoil-Coimbatore passenger would be partially cancelled between Virudhunagar and Dindigul. Train No. 56320 Coimbatore-Nagercoil passenger would be partially cancelled between Dindigul and Virudhunagar, a statement said.

Trains rescheduled

Train No. 22628 Tirunelveli-Tiruchirappalli Intercity express scheduled to leave Tirunelveli at 2.15 p.m. would be rescheduled to leave Tirunelveli at 3.15 p.m.

Trains regulated

Train No. 16788 Jammutawi-Tirunelveli bi-weekly express would be regulated for 150 minutes at Koodal Nagar railway station.

Train No. 16734 Okha-Rameswaram express would be regulated for 90 minutes at Kodaikkanal Road station. Train No. 16127 Chennai Egmore-Guruvayur express would be regulated for 85 minutes at Dindigul station.

Train No. 56825 Erode/Mayiladuthurai-Tirunelveli passenger would be regulated for 40 minutes at Dindigul station, the statement said.
