The Southern Railway has announced the extension of Madurai-Palani passenger trains to Coimbatore for three months from Sunday. The Madurai-Palani passenger will leave Madurai at 7.45 a.m. and reach Palani at 10.40 a.m. The Palani-Madurai passenger will leave Palani at 4.45 p.m. and arrive Madurai at 8.10 p.m.

Palani: departure 10.45 a.m.; Pushpattur: 11.02 a.m.; Madathukulam: 11.13 a.m.; Malvadi Road: 11.21 a.m.; Udumalpet: 11.32 a.m.: Gomangalam: 11.48 a.m.; Pollachi: 12.25 p.m.; Kinattukadavu: 12.54 p.m.; Podanur: 13.21 p.m.; Coimbatore: arrival 2 p.m..
