Training in cloth bag making

The Rural Development and Self-Employment Training Institute (RUDSET) offers training in cloth bag making.

Inaugurating the programme, V. Santha, Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Corporation for Development of Women, said that it was heartening to learn that many youngsters turned up to take up self-employment and become job providers.

Commending the women- participants, she said that at a time when rapid changes were taking place in the industry, training was important, which was offered at RUDSET by well-trained experts. By undergoing such training, the participants could improve their skills and learn trade nuances.

She appealed to the participants to take up their ventures boldly and come up in life.

Certificates were also distributed to participants who had undergone training in beautician course, videography and other courses.

Training centre Director L. Anandan presented a report about activities being held at the RUDSETI. P. J. Revathi, Joint Director and others addressed the gagthering. Veeraraghavan proposed a vote of thanks.
