Corporation Commissioner (in-charge) K. Tharpagaraj inaugurated a training programme for the staff, who would carry out door-to-door enumeration for the census work, here on Monday.

He said that about 2,500 enumerators and supervisors would be assigned the task of gathering details required for the national census to be carried out from June 1 to July 15.
