Telemedicine mission launched

The Holistic Healthcare Foundation has launched a ‘telemedicine’ mission with the aim of supporting the government and providing quality healthcare to people living below poverty line.

According to a press release, the mission will integrate Aadhaar card numbers of people and formulate a consortium of Central and State governments, government hospitals, super speciality hospitals and telemedicine system providers.

It would create a primary data bank about the wellness of the community and provide a digital integration for consultation with clinical diagnosis. Speaking at the launch function, V. Ponraj, scientific advisor to former President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, said that the initiative aimed at reaching at least one million people living below the poverty line within four years. Holistic Healthcare Foundation, represented by founder R. Sridhar Ramani, and director R. Srikanth, signed a memorandum of understanding with i-grandee Software Technologies, represented by its chief executive officer M.R. Pramoth, and director Vinod Kumar.
