Tangedco announces power shutdown

There will be a power shutdown from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday owing to monthly maintenance works at the Subramaniapuram and Mahalipatti sub-stations, a press release from Tangedco said.

The areas affected will be South Veli Street, South Masi Street, South Marret Street, Sappani Koil Street, Kazimar Street, Kaja Street, South Krishnan Koil Street, Pandiya Vellalar Street, Mela Vaasal, Perumal Koil Street, TPK Road, Town Hall Road, West Masi Street, West Marret Street, West Veli Street, South Avani Moola street, West Perumal Maistry Street, Rathinapuram, M K Puram, Periyar Bus Depot, Shopping Complex, parts of RMS Road, Keerathurai, Sundarrajapuram, Mahalipatti, Nalla Muthu Pillai Road, Chintamani Road, St Mary’s Road, Pillaiyar Palayam, Chinnakadai Street, Manchanakara Street, parts of Pandhadi Mahal Street, Maravar Chaavadi, Kamarajapuram, East Veli Street, Amman Sannadhi, Vazhai Thopu, East Marret Street, Sangam Pallivasal Street and West Avani Moola Street.

There will also be a power shutdown in areas affiliated to the T. Kalupatti sub station owing to monthly maintenance works on Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The areas affected will be Kunnathur, Peraiyur, Kadaneri, M. Subbalapuram, Pappiahpuram, S. Arasapatti, Santhaiyur, Keezhapatti, Melapatti, Saptur, Aththipatti, Anaikkaraipatti, Villoor, Kallikudi, Puliyampatti, Puliyankulam, Vaiyoor, Chennampatti and Aavalsooranpatti.
