Suspended cop held for bike theft in Madurai

A Tamil Nadu Special Police constable, M. Syed Sadam Hussain (23), under suspension, was held on charge of two-wheeler theft on Wednesday.

The police said that the accused, hailing from Tiruppuvanam, was placed under suspension in April 2014.  

Meanwhile, based on his suspicious activity, the police interrogated him following which he has reportedly confessed to have stolen two motorbikes in the city.

The Thilagar Thidal police arrested him.  He was sent to judicial custody.
