Students must be creative to succeed: V. Ponraj

“A good education system is one that turns the students into leaders,” said V. Ponraj, Scientific Advisor to former president A.P.J. Abdul Kalam here on Saturday.

Addressing the seventh college day function of Velammal Engineering College and Technology, he asked the students to be creative in order to succeed.

“If you want to be unique, then you need four qualities – aim high in life, acquire knowledge continuously, work hard and be determined in what you do,” he said.

K.V. Rao, Chief General Manager, Karur Vysya Bank, in his address asked the students to make the most of the facilities offered by the institution.

He advised the students to dream and work towards realising it.

M.V. Muthuramalingam, Chairman, Velammal Group of Institutions, also spoke.

Later, students and professors were given cash prizes for their outstanding performance.
