Secretary of school held for abusing girl students

The secretary of a school here was arrested on Monday for allegedly abusing some girl students.

Following a complaint from an eighth standard student of the school at Viswanathapuram, Inspector General and Commissioner of Police P. Kannappan directed the police to register a case.

Investigation suggested that the secretary was in the habit of physically abusing girl students staying in the hostel. The complainant stated: “The girl students have been instructed not to lock the door while they are in bathroom.”
