Health Secretary J. Radhakrishnan inspected the progress of construction of a 320-bed super speciality block at Government Rajaji Hospital here on Friday.

Stating that 90 % of the work on the top floors had been completed, he said that outpatient ward at the block was likely to be inaugurated by the end of July. Later, he met the children who are undergoing treatment at GRH for growth hormone deficiencies.

Pointing out that around 15 children were undergoing treatment, he said that the State government was providing expensive medicines free of cost to treat them.
