Science competition in city

The Mahatma Schools and Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) are organising a unique science exhibition-cum-competition, ‘MASROSAT’s Propulsion’ for two days from November 30.

Speaking to reporters here on Friday, Senior Principal Premalatha said over 150 schools and colleges had been invited for the event.

The competition themes ranged from energy, climate change, astronomy, geophysics, astrophysics, electronics to space exploration.

Prizes would be given under three three categories — Standard VI to VIII; Standard IX to XII; and colleges.

Aspiring students could enrol their names with the Mahatma Montessori Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Baba Building, Surveyor Colony, Madurai 625007 with entry forms endorsed by their school/college heads.
