Interest subsidy

The Central government’s grant of interest subsidy on education loans has not been distributed for 2015-16. It was credited to the loan accounts of students in December 2014 after which no subsidy has been distributed to loan account holders. The Central government should look into this matter and arrange to distribute subsidies for 2015-16 and 2016-17.

Cone speaker menace

Residents of areas surrounding religious institutions undergo untold suffering due to the noise from cone speakers. People are not able to speak over their mobile phones due to deafening noise from cone speakers. Students are also disturbed while preparing for their examinations. To cap it all, ailing people feel uneasy and their illness reaches a critical stage due to blaring noise. The district administration should confiscate cone speakers in places of worship.
